Paul Wolfowitz spelled it out in "Rebuilding America's Defenses" back in 1991, and most people are simply unaware that the document even exists. Those that do are drowned out by nationalist frenzy, and the press has decided that it's easier to cover what's happening as if it really is a war.&lt;br&gt;
   But the book makes it clear that all the "mistakes" that have supposedly been made have served their intended function: To dig us in deeper into a situation that can have no resolution and no acceptable way out.&lt;br&gt;
   The model for Iraq is not and has never been a Western style democracy. The model for Iraq is Okinawa, and the neo-cons have succeeded in getting thousands of Americans to die for their vision of the future.&lt;br&gt;
   It's a moot point whether they're right or not. We're in, and there's no way out.&lt;/p&gt;
